Our Story
Memories of Bethlehem began not as a business, but as a way to keep something alive.
For generations, our family has run a small shop in the heart of Bethlehem, carving olive wood, setting Roman glass, and crafting jewelry the way it's been done here for centuries. Our father still works from that same shop today, sourcing wood from the hills around us and shaping each piece by hand.
In recent years, the flow of visitors to Bethlehem has slowed. Fewer pilgrims and travelers have been able to walk these streets, and the artisans who depend on that tourism have felt it deeply. We started this shop so the world could still carry a piece of Bethlehem home even from thousands of miles away.
Every item you see here passes through real hands in a real workshop, not a factory. When you buy from us, you're not just getting a keepsake you're helping a Bethlehem family keep a centuries-old craft alive.
Carry a piece of Bethlehem wherever you go.
